Canon Rath talked with Justin Petska about the upcoming Hershey Fall Festival coming up on August 26th, 2023. Canon and Justin talked about the what the event is, the noon lunch, and the concert.
NORTH PLATTE, NEB - The 2023 Hershey Fall Festival is coming up on August 26, 2023. The festival, which last all day starts with a parade in the morning and will cap off with a concert at night. There are plenty of events throughout the day for families and folks to enjoy.
The festival is point on by the Lions club every year and is a way the Lion's club gives back to the community. "The Hershey Fall Festival is our annual celebration out in Hershey, put on by the Hershey's Lions club and it's just our way to give back to the community and fundraiser for our club for the year," said Justin Petska. "We do a lot of different community improvement projects and help other non-profits with their projects."
This year, the parade which starts at 10:30 central time will kick off the event that starts on main street and ends at the park and there will be a free will donation prime rib feed that will begin at the park at the conclusion of the parade. Highlighting the concert will be Muscadine Bloodline and the concert will take place on main street where the stage will be set up by the railroad walkway.
