North Platte, Neb. - The North Platte city council held a regular meeting on June 18th and different agendas were discussed amongst the council. Topics included adopt a resolution to approve a MicroTIF project, numerous Ordinance readings, public hearing topics and so much more.

(Audio) NPHS Skills USA gearing up for 2nd Annual Cars & Craft Show Aug. 31st

North Platte, Neb. - The North Platte High School Skills USA chapter is gearing up to present the 2nd Annual Cars & Crafts Show on Aug. 31st at the North Platte High School parking lot. The craft fair will run from 8:00am - 4:00pm and the car show runs from 8:00am - 3:00pm with awards at 2:30pm. 

General admission for the event is canned food items or a free will donation to the NPHS Food Pantry. There is still time to sign up for your car for the show or be a vendor for the event. Click here to learn more on how to sign up. Lunch will be available during the event.

(Audio) The Simpsons Family Benefit Bowling Tournament being held this weekend

North Platte, Neb. - The Wild Bill's Fun Center will be the host site for the Simpsons Family Benefit Bowling Tournament this upcoming weekend. The benefit is being put together to help raise money for the Simpsons family after a devastating house fire that hurt the wife and child. Money will be raised to help the family. Many businesses in the community have donated raffle prizes for the event.

North Platte, Neb. - Fair week is wrapping up this afternoon at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds with the 4-H Livestock Sale. Going on today at the fairgrounds is the 4-H Livestock Sale with the buyer's lunch beginning at 11:30pm and the sale begins at 1:00pm. The sale will be a premium only.
