The Gift of Hope Cancer Foundation is excited to host the 21st Annual Fundraiser event on Tuesday, Sept. 17th at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door with all proceeds going to aid families and neighbors in Western Nebraska in their fight to beat cancer. The event features a steak dinner and two drink tickets for wine or beer.

Pals Brewing in North Platte will be the host site of the Western Nebraska Craft Beer Festival this Saturday, September 14th. The event runs from 4:00pm-8:00pm with a special VIP hour from 3:00pm-4:00pm. Tickets are still available. Vendors will be on site as well.

North Platte, Neb. - The St. Patrick's Church is excited to be hosting the St. Patrick's Block Party this Saturday and Sunday in North Platte. The event on Saturday will run from 6:30pm - 11:00pm with a beer garden, nacho bar and more. On Sunday, the event runs from 12:00pm - 3:00pm and is geared towards activites for the kids but for everyone to enjoy. Raffle tickets are on sale for $2 and there are awesome prizes to win.

Ogallala Football at Broken Bow - Radio Recap

Broken Bow, Ne - The Ogallala Football team posted their closest victory since September 8, 2023 on Friday night. They skirted past the Broken Bow Indians 28-26. This was a reversal for Ogallala, who suffered a 28-22 loss the last time these two teams met.
Leading Ogallala to victory was Sawyer Smith whorushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries.
The win got Ogallala back to even at 1-1. As for Broken Bow, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ogallala will face off against Cozad at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, you can hear the game on Flatrock 100.7 and listen online at www.SandhillsPost.com . As for Broken Bow, they will play St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

North Platte, Neb. - The 4th Annual International Bazaar is set for September 28th at the D&N Event Center in North Platte. The event runs from 11:00am - 3:00pm. Admission is free however a free will donation and nonperishable goods will be accepted. The multicultural festival features around 21 different countries, authentic food and exhibit vendors, community education booths and so much more. The event is looking for volunteers to help. Topics included approve the collective bargaining agreement between the city of NP and firefighters, first reading on ordinance No. 4182, approve the East Golden Road improvements, second reading of ordinance No. 4165 and so much more.
