Post News Director Canon Rath chatted with Angela Hipp and Ted Pucylowski and their upcoming event with Community Connections next Tuesday at Venue 304 in North Platte. The event co-hosted with TeamMates Mentoring Program is free and open to the community. Community Connections mentoring program offers year-round mentoring while TeamMates Program is academic school year. Mentors spend 4-8 hours a week with their mentees while doing activities. Community Connections alongside TeamMates will be hosting a free event on February 27th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at Venue 304 in North Platte. The event is to help educate the difference between the two organizations, recruit new members to become mentors, answer questions and much more. Post News Director Canon Rath chatted with TeamMates Co-Coordinator Molly Morales about the TeamMates Mentoring Program and their upcoming event with Community Connections next Tuesday at Venue 304 in North Platte. The TeamMates Mentoring Program is a school based program that allows mentors to meet with students once a week in school during the school year. The goal is to be their for the studetns and help guide them towards goals while providing support.

NORTH PLATTE - The North Platte city council held a special meeting on February 21st, and different agendas were discussed amongst the council. Topics discussed was repair work on the Willow Street via duct, annexations of property behind Starbucks and Sonic, Arpa funds for road paving and so much more.

North Platte Kubota Podcast: Trey & Dayna Wasserburger of North Platte, Nebraska will tell you it takes the whole family to make their ranch successful, that and 364 days of preparing for their annual bull sale which will take place on March 15 at Rishel Ranch south of North Platte. They'll be overing 350 bulls to buyers in person at their ranch and online. Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen has even RSVP'd for the event. North Platte, Ne - This Saturday the 4H extension office again hosting an open house for 4H families and interested 4H and Clover Kid families at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds from 3pm to 5pm. Enrolled 4H'rs can vote on the color of this summers T-Shirts, plus many 4H groups will be set up so you can see what it's all about. Plan to come, or call 308-532-2683 for more information. Post News Director Canon Rath chatted with Amy Parker from the D&N Event Center about a fundraiser event with Dunham sports that will be going on during district wrestling March 2nd at the D&N Event Center. An estimated over 1500 people will be attending wrestling which features wrestler's pre-k through 8th grade.
