Keith County Big Give - Conversation with Stephanie Reed from the Ogallala Rotorac

Derek Beck talked with Stephanie Reed from the Ogallala Rotorac about the Keith County Big Give event and how money that is raised can be helped to buy Christmas presents for families in need.  

 

NORTH PLATTE, NEB – The Keith County Big Give event is underway, and the Ogallala Rotorac is fundraising money to help buy Christmas gifts for families in need. The organization adopted the caring and sharing program and the program is a don’t ask, don’t tell service that helps provide Christmas gifts for families in need. “If you were experiencing a financial hardship and don’t feel like you can provide gifts for your children that Christmas, we have set up an online form. Go fill that out, give us a couple of different gift ideas,” said Stephanie Reed. “We make sure no child goes without a gift Christmas time.” The event runs until June 15th and you can donate by going to https://www.keithcountybiggive.org and click on Ogallala Rotoract.  

Keith County Big Give - Conversation with Paxton Superintendent Del Dack

Derek Beck talks with Paxton Schools Superintendent Del Dack about the Keith County Big Give and the fundraising event for the library. 

 

NORTH PLATTE, Neb – The Keith County Big Give event is underway, and Paxton Schools is looking to raise money for library renovations. “We are wanting to update our furniture in our school district library and the furniture we currently have has been with us and served its purpose over the years,” said Paxton Schools Superintendent Del Dack. “We would like to update it to make it more user friendly.” The event runs till June 15th, and you can donate by going to keithcountybiggive.org and clicking on Paxton Public Schools Foundation.

Plainsmen ready for the season to begin following rainouts

Chuck Heeman, Jared Jones and Justin Santos joined Sports Director Paxton Gordon to talk about the recent rainouts and how that has affected the start of the season. The Plainsmen will be at home on Sunday, June 4th to take on the Hays Larks with first pitch at 4:35 p.m.
