Ogallala Regional Arts Council to host final show of the season Sunday in Ogallala

The Ogallala Regional Arts Council has had a busy concert season, and this Sunday, May 7 they'll hold the final show of the season with Jim Witter and Ian Tanner. The show starts at 7pm at the Ogallala Performing Arts Center at the High School. Admission is $15 for adults or $7 for students. ORAC members get in free with your membership card. Derek Beck spoke with Barb Jeffries from the Eagle Media studios in Ogallala about the concert, and other things on the horizon for the Ogallala Regional Arts Council.

Record day expected Wednesday for North Platte Giving Day

Ginger Ady joined Derek Beck from the North Platte Post to talk about Wednesday's upcoming North Platte Giving Day. In 2022, Giving Day generated over $370,000 in donations for almost 70 Lincoln County non-profits. As of Monday morning, over $116,000 had already by donated in "early-giving". 308 BMX is close to first goal for community pump track

Derek Beck with the POST sat down with 308 BMX organizer Brandon McCook and talked about the planned BMX track and community pump track that is planned in North Platte. North Platte Giving Day is May 3 and with community giving support McCook thinks the organization will be close to their financial goal and able to break ground on the pump track soon if funding comes through.

Muscadine Bloodline a red dirt band out of Alabama will headline the Hershey Fall Festival on Saturday, August 26th along with North Platte's own Drew Phillips Band.
