We also dabbled into the emotional side of basketball and how to keep a team composed with pressure mounting as we draw closer to playoff time. 

Applicatin deadline nears for Miss Nebraska "Sparklers" (PODCAST)

North Platte, Ne - The Nebraska Sparklers, is the Nebraska chapter of the Miss America’s Little Sisters Mentoring Program. The program began as a goodwill gesture between girls in the local community and the visiting delegates. Miss Nebraska Organization's Megan Doughty says Sparklers is for little girls 6-12 years old; they are paired with one of the Miss or Teen delegate during the Miss Nebraska and Miss Nebraska's Teen cometition in June for the entirety of the week. The girls get to dance with the delgates on stage, are introduced to the pageant crowd and more.

North Platte, Neb. - The 2025 NEBRASKALand DAYS Buffalo Bill Birthday Bash is quickly approaching this Saturday at the D&N Event Center. The event is set to begin with the doors opening at 6:00pm, a live auction at 7:00pm and live music from local artist Drew Phillips Band to begin at 9:00pm. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased online or at the door. Tickets get you entry for two drink tickets and also a meal will be served.
